EDUCACION AMBIENTAL, TURISMO ESCOLAR, SENDAS ECOLOGICAS, CHARLAS Y ECOLOGIA

We are an environmental group of professional biologists and educators with experience in the conservation of natural resources. We use nature as an educational resource, fostering correct conduct towards the surroundings. We consider nature to be like a fragile ecosystem that has its own exigencies, which need to be respected for our own well-being.

“Sendas Ecológicas” has a program of Environmental Education directed to students. By means of this program we made study visits to different natural areas; we applied playful educational techniques, promoting that the participants reinforce their knowledge through direct experiences in the field. Also through instructing them in their respective schools we motivated and sensitized them so that they will become involved in the care of environment.

Objectives

• To visit the diverse natural areas that surround the city, studying them in a structured and ordered way, so that the participants develop an environmental conscience in an excellent and realistic way.

• To develop in the participants an active way of caring for the environment.
